http://www.NewsAndOpinion.com | So Ariel Sharon, the "terrorist," has decided, for the moment, to pull back from a retaliating incursion in the West Bank and against the "righteous" Hamas for their "honorable" suicide attack on those infidels who had the unmitigated gall to play pool.

In downtown Tel Aviv, about 50,000 Israelis, that Arafat's followers want to disappear into thin air, rallied Saturday night in favor of an Israeli pullout from the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Now, just for argument's sake, the PLO and Hamas had as much fire power and military intelligence as Israel. And just for argument's sake, the Israeli's send some 19 year old Yeshiva student strapped with explosives to a Gaza Strip Backgammon Hall full of young, innocent, nonmilitary, nongovernment Palestinians.

Now just one more argument's sake (last one, I promise), the PLO prepares its second only to the U.S. military might to invade Israel so they can knock out those infidel Zionists.

Now, just for argument's sake (okay, I lied), there's the possibility for peace in the region, but only if the PLO and their leader, Chairman Arafat, do not choose to retaliate.

Question: Would the PLO not retaliate?

I'm not asking YOU. I'm not asking most Americans. I'm certainly not asking Israel. I'm asking the rest of the world.

I'm asking the U.N. and the security council who condemn the Israeli "atrocities" without first having evidence of any. I'm asking those who danced in the street to celebrate 9/11 horrors.

I'm asking those French who believe that desecrating synagogues somehow will help make things better. I'm asking the German neofacists and American skinheads who call for another Hitler to eliminate every Jew. I'm asking the Arab schools who teach the hateful song lyrics to the children much too young to appreciate their meaning.

I'm asking the world media, including those in the U.S., who offer pictures of Arab misery, but neglect to reveal what might have provoked the pictured anguish.

I'm asking those of the Islamic Jihad who have misinterpreted their own holy Koran to such a absurd and cowardly point that somehow they believe that Mohammed was okay with some yokel with a few bucks and a beard distorting Islam's spirit and words to mean it's okay to kill anybody because they don't agree with him.

I'm asking the PIJ Fathi Shqaqi faction who views Israel as the main enemy of the Muslims and the first target for destruction by guerilla groups carrying out terrorist attacks aimed at wiping out Israel.

I'm asking the Saudis who pay good money to the murderers' families. I'm asking the Palestinians who disapprove on the Israel incursion on their land, but have no problem with the PLO keeping their munitions and transgressors next door to their children's bedrooms and schools. What do YOU think they'd all say? You think they'd say that Arafat and the PLO would postpone their retaliatory attack just like those "warmongering" Israelis and that "terrorist" Sharon have done. I'm just asking. You know...for argument's sake.
