NOTE FROM A 'SIMPLE JOE'

[Today's issue is below. PLEASE read what follows til the end. It's short.]

Hi:

The letters that you've featured from the readers so far I can never match. I'm just a simple Joe and hope you will let me have my say.

I enjoy JWR because it defends my beliefs and values and enables me to not be intimidated by those who portay me in their all-ecompassing TV, radio and movies and newspapers as something I'm not.

It's good to know that I'm not alone.

JWR also enables me to have answers ready for my kids when they come home questioning (oboviously instigated by others) what I teach them is right and wrong.

I'm not a rich man. Our family lives with little more than the necessities. So why do I support JWR?

Well for starters, because I believe it is a necessity.

Because I'm a loyal person who appreciates my friends, be they living or electronic.

Lastly, because I know that most folks won't.

These days it seems that everybody wants somebody else to do what he should be doing himself.

Life has taught me that can work for a while but it almost always stops.

So if you want JWR to stop, keep ignoring Mr. Jolkovsky's requests for help.

I don't have a lot. But I have enough to give something. I bet you do, too.

JWR makes it easy to chip-in.

I divide my donation over the year. You can do that or give once a year.

I hope my simple thoughts convince you, the readers, to help JWR keep on keeping on.

And I hope Mr. Jolkovsky publishes this note.

Please sign me "Simple Joe".
Alvin, TX
