A poll taken last week has shown that 34% of Democrats and Democratic-leaning adults identify as "democratic socialists." Zohran Mamdani, a proud admitted democratic socialist (and an Islamist antisemite), was elected mayor of New York City. Across the country socialists are winning Democrat primaries as never before. Who is voting for these American Marxists? According to a poll published by Rasmussen last September, support for socialist policies and socialist candidates is now a majority position of younger voters in America.

Rasmussen reported that "53% of Likely U.S. Voters ages 18 to 39 would like to see a democratic socialist candidate win the 2028 presidential election. Twenty-seven percent (27%) of under-40 voters would not want to see a democratic socialist elected president in 2028, and 20% are not sure."

Among Democrats, the Pew Research Center claims younger, white college educated members are more likely to view democratic socialist leaders positively, with 39% of those aged 18-29 and 41% of college graduates saying they like such leaders. This should come as no surprise when you consider that these young people have gone through an educational system that has taught them that America is an evil imperialistic country controlled by white racists and socialism is the answer to the unfairness of capitalism.

Over the past 50 years or so our education institutions have been flooded with far-left teachers and professors who don’t teach as much as indoctrinate. Many of them, certainly in the elite universities, are communist sympathizers if not out and out Marxists themselves. Some are actually anarchists, having a history serving in groups such as the Weather Underground and the SDS. School text books reflect a leftist revisionist view of the world, espousing critical race theory, LGBTQ+ dogma, multiculturalism, intersectionality, and the oppressors verses the oppressed ideology.

Add to that a complicit entertainment culture and news media which does all it can to validate and propagate these notions through propaganda in the mainstream outlets. For anyone who has been paying attention, it should be quite obvious that our country has shifted far left culturally, educationally and in almost every other way, affecting what the last two or three generations now believe.

The Ivy League American colleges and universities are supported by billions of dollars in funding from foreign governments, many of which are Middle Eastern Islamic nations, with no interest in furthering our democratic ideals, I promise you. Many professors at these institutions are strident supporters of terrorist groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Muslim Brotherhood.

It’s interesting to note that there is an unspoken collaboration between the Marxist faction and the Islamist wing of the "hate America" club. Both are anti-Israel (read Jew haters) and anti-America. Both despise capitalism, democracy, and the American culture as it now stands. Their agenda is, as Barak Obama famously said, to fundamentally transform the United States of America.

There is one other major component which should not be overlooked. Social media. (You might call it for our purposes here, socialistic media.) Our young people are addicted to it and believe what they hear. Attractive high profile socialists like Mamdani, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and others know how to use social media and win over the young users with their personalities. All of this is no accident, by the way. It is carefully orchestrated and supported by dark money.

And oh, yes, there is one other thing that has contributed to young people’s fascination with socialism; the lack of religion in their lives. There are far less Americans who have strong religious faith then there once was. Too many kids today are worshipers of the internet, not the bible. They follow a charlatan like Mamdani as if he were a prophet. After all, he smiles and jokes around a lot. Isn’t he cool? As the old saying goes, when people stop believing in God, they’ll believe in anything.

So don’t be so shocked, shocked that socialism has found a place with the young in our society today. They were sent to college to learn, and they did. They learned that America needs to be fundamentally transformed. You get what you pay for, folks.
