How Wrong Can You Get?

Well, my column last week, predicting what the Biden performance would look like at the debate was wrong. Not just kinda, sorta wrong. Completely 100% wrong.

I thought he would show up after the week long prep by his team all juiced up and ready to rumble. I figured he would be so drugged up and angry that I expected a repeat of his State of the Union performance. Boy was I wrong. I forgot one important difference. Biden had a teleprompter at the State of the Union.

Then I said no matter how the 90 minutes goes down, the Biden-loving media will instantly proclaim Biden the victor afterward. Again, I was dead wrong.

Biden mumbled and fumbled and froze and looked like an old man who lost his way getting home.

As soon as the debate was over, the media and even many Democrats called for him to get out and be replaced. They fell all over each other saying Biden is finished. He's toast, he's done. It's over. They did something I never thought I'd see them do. They admitted defeat.

So my predictions were completely off the mark. And I've never been happier to be so wrong. The Democrats and their compliant media got just what they deserved. And yes, it's about time.

No matter what happens from now on, no matter how it's spun in the weeks ahead, the legacy media has been exposed to the world (and the voters) as corrupt and lying and unreliable. To use an overused term, they have been proven to be "the fake news."

The Democrats meanwhile have dug themselves into a hole that might be impossible for them to overcome. They too have been shown to be self-serving liars, claiming all this time that Biden is "as sharp as a tack." They blamed the video clips we've seen of Biden's numerous falls, trips, staring into space, and verbal gaffs on Fox News and other sources using fake reedited clips. Everyone knows the truth now and there is no way for them to lie out of it.

Meanwhile, The Supreme Court has handed down a few wonderful decisions which spell more bad news for the Left. All in all Donald J. Trump is having the best week he's had in years and MAGA Americans finally have something that looks like a runaway election. But nobody should be celebrating yet.

With more than 4 months to go until election day anything can happen. The Democrats won't silently slither away into the shadows, they'll do whatever they can to keep their power in Washington. Believe me, if the past is any indication, they will try to win the election by hook or by crook. Even if their current crook finally bows out.

With or without Joe Biden the Dems and their media cohorts will continue their war on Donald Trump. And now they're also at war with the Supreme Court. They've already made statements about the fact that if Trump wins, thanks to the recent court decisions, he will have full rein to rule as a dictator and take revenge on all who oppose him. He will set our country on fire and jail all the women on The View. He will turn the military into his own Nazi SS storm troopers. He will put blacks in prison and round up liberals and throw them into concentration camps. And The Supreme Court will aid and abet this.

If it's one thing you can depend upon, it's that nothing will stop the Left. No Supreme Court rulings will stop them. No demented Biden will stop them. No popular groundswell for Donald Trump will stop them. And no election will stop them. If Donald Trump wins, it won't stop them. Don't forget what happened after the 2016 election.

Remember the mobs taking to the streets? Remember the chants of "RESIST?" Remember the deep state working with the Hilary Clinton campaign to fake a Russia collusion? Don't forget three attempts at impeachment.

If Donald Trump wins this election, of course he won't do all the ridiculous things the Left machine claims he will do. And they know he won't. But they also know that he is no friend of the dirty deep state, or "the swamp" as he calls it. The Left knows their power structure is in jeopardy if Trump gets back in. And that is why they will do anything they can to keep him out. There's a lot of time left for Democrats to pull dirty shenanigans.

But I could be wrong. I was last week.
