Kansas City Chiefs fans angrily turned on Taylor Swift's romance with Travis Kelce calling her Yoko Swifo after Sunday's loss to the lowly Raiders. The Chiefs have won three games and lost five since they started dating. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have become the Meghan and Harry of the NFL.

Kanye West apologized profusely to the Jewish community for appearing to be anti-Semitic. I said the same thing yesterday. A fan in Cambridge sent me a thick warm maroon Harvard sweatshirt with the university logo on the chest, and I wore it to the grocery store in Beverly Hills without thinking.

Boxing Day was a huge day at shopping malls on Tuesday as holiday gift recipients crowded the stores at the return counters. As for cleaning up the house, I put it off. I never take down the Christmas lights around my house until March and people driving by at night just assume it's a Chinese restaurant.

The U.S. Border Patrol reported Tuesday that thirty-five thousand migrants crossed the border into the United States over the Christmas weekend alone. They said two hundred seventy thousand entered in the month of November. They'll be very upset if we build a border wall, but they'll get over it.

The Russian Election Commission Tuesday refused to allow a woman to run for the presidency of Russia in 2024. She opposes Putin's Ukraine war policy. The Russian Election Commission had no precedent for kicking her off the ballot until Colorado vs. Trump gave Putin the legal opening he needed.

The Colorado Supreme Court used the House January 6th Commission's verdict as a legal basis for claiming Trump is an insurrectionist. It allowed no Trump witnesses and no witnesses to be cross-examined. To begin each hearing the commission stood for the singing of Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport.

U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene was swatted for the 8th time Monday. A guy called the Georgia suicide hotline vowing to kill himself at her address, drawing a police raid. She always refers to Joe Biden as Hitler, narrowing the list of suspects down to her supporters, angry at her for slandering Hitler.

President Biden on Christmas Day phoned American military personnel in Michigan, Hawaii, the Persian Gulf and in Europe to offer holiday greetings and to thank them for their service. The Signal Corps issued a two-word greeting to every U.S. service member from our president. Happy Easter!

The Pentagon admitted recruiting shortfalls have left the U.S. with its smallest active-duty force since 1940. What's worse, a new study says seventy percent of U.S. soldiers are overweight or obese. If D-Day were staged today, our boys would die scaling the bluffs at Normandy with nobody firing at them.

U.S. Navy warships shot down twelve drones and five missiles fired by the Yemeni Houthis at oil tankers and U.S. ships in the Persian Gulf Tuesday. In a related story Amazon just announced it will begin delivering packages to houses in the U.S. via drones in 2024. How cool, skeet shooting with prizes.

Chicago's Mayor pledged money to economically develop high crime areas. The other night I was watching the news and saw a flash mob break into a place, smash their way past the guards and steal everything of value. It recalled a movie I saw back when I was a kid called How the West Was Won.
