• NBC News reports U-Haul charges five times more money to move people out of California due to the demand to leave. I'm often asked why I moved to Hollywood. The day I graduated from OU, I had no idea where to go so I decided to throw a dart at a map of the U.S. on my wall and it landed in the trash.
• Hollywood celebrities and entertainment legends registered their fury over Elon Musk taking over Twitter and for allowing conservative voices back on the Twitter public square. Stars announced they are leaving Twitter and some went further. Neil Young just removed his songs from Elon Musk's playlist.
• Nancy Pelosi was in DC Thursday when her home was invaded by a homeless nut who fought with her husband Paul over a hammer and fractured Paul's skull. Reaction was predictable. Republicans pointed out the attacker was an illegal alien and Chuck Schumer introduced legislation to ban hammers.
• San Francisco cops found Paul Pelosi and an accused intruder wrestling over a hammer at 2 am. Paul called the police when the intruder allowed him to go to the bathroom. That didn't strike me as plausible at all, but then I watch so many Dateline episodes that when I turn off the TV, I wipe my prints off the remote.
• Donald Trump was asked in a Spanish language interview Monday about the homeless San Francisco man who broke into Paul Pelosi's home and he called it a terrible thing. His empathy for Paul was genuine. Three months ago Trump had forty FBI agents break into his home and they weren't Trick or Treating.
• Mansfield Energy warned that diesel fuel shortages on the Eastern Seaboard could make home heating expensive and limit our lifestyles this winter. It'll be tough on all of us. Voters may have to choose between heating and eating while our elected lawmakers face the choice of drinking or cheating.
• Kanye West claimed a Jewish doctor misdiagnosed him and he listed Jews in Hollywood who are out to get him. Kanye has some ambition thinking he can be racist, angry, violent and anti-Semitic in his recordings and still be elected U.S. president. He was just named Visiting Fellow at the Nixon Library.
• USA Today reports luxury ocean cruise reservations are way up for Thanksgiving through New Year's Day. It's more peaceful and enjoyable than the alternative. This holiday season many Americans are rejecting long lines at the airports for the comparative pleasure of a stomach virus on the High Seas.
