Donald Trump’s life was saved Sunday when an alert Secret Service agent spotted an assassin lurking in wait at the 6th hole. Trump’s now survived two impeachments, four federal prosecutions and two assassination attempts. Democrats are pretty much down to hoping he’ll choke on a piece of cat.

Fox News’ Bret Baier got Donald Trump on the phone following the failed attempt on Trump’s life while he was golfing at Trump National in Palm Beach. He told Fox News the Secret Service did a terrific job. When asked for further comment Trump added that the greens break toward the ocean.

The New York Post ran an article chronicling the complaints by customers at McDonald’s who allege shrink-flation in the burger size at the Golden Arches, that the quarter-pound burger is smaller than it once was. Each McDonald’s is a little different. In Springfield, Ohio, the Happy Meal wags its tail.

Mexican street festivals broke out Sunday to mark the first day of Hispanic Heritage Month in America. It starts in the middle of the month for a reason. Every year Hispanic Heritage Month in America begins September 15th, and then halfway through the 30 days it crosses the border into October.

The National Labor Relations Board said only 11% percent of American workers belong to a union, leaving 89% with no power to go on strike for higher wages. Not that it helps. Last week 33,000 Boeing union factory workers threatened to walk out and Boeing management said the door’s wide open.

The Seattle Times says Boeing factory workers and mechanics shut down plant production and went on strike Friday, which threatens several huge new orders for Boeing airliners. The workers are all out picketing but you don’t see many picket signs. They keep falling off the sticks for some reason.

Kamala Harris addressed a crowd in North Carolina Friday and she promised up to $25,000 in down payment money for first-time buyers. That’s a drop in the bucket where I live. I finally found a house here in Los Angeles I can afford but I’m not sure if it’s legal to buy it from a German Shepherd.

Tucker Carlson interviewed Bobby Kennedy Jr. last Friday about his risky decision to withdraw from the presidential race and endorse Trump. That’s not what makes him nervous. Bobby Kennedy prides himself on his total honesty, and he’s hoping that no reporter asks him directly if he ever ate a cat.

Donald Trump promised Friday to cut taxes, end taxes on tips and overtime pay, seal the border and open up drilling. He vowed to get this country moving again, and for millions that’ll be true. If Trump becomes president, a good number of Californians will move to Mexico, not by choice though.

Politico reports Kamala Harris did not rise in the polls after Tuesday’s debate despite her good performance in the debate. She got a bad sign later that night. After the debate, Taylor Swift, who’s made a career out of singing about the bad choices she has made, endorsed Kamala Harris for president.

Russia’s Vladimir Putin warned Friday if the U.S. and Britain furnish Ukraine with missiles it’ll mean all-out war. Putin recently unveiled a hypersonic nuclear missile that can get to Los Angeles from Russia in 40 minutes. Wow, that’s faster than it takes a car to get to Los Angeles from Los Angeles.
