• Spain demanded a meeting of the EU after an army of tens of thousands of Moroccans stormed into the Spanish territory from Africa in just one day. I believe the African arrivals add to Spain's history of world exploration that goes back to 1492. They were searching for a new route to Minneapolis.
• KTLA News in Los Angeles aired scary video Sunday of packs of coyotes that have taken over construction sites and abandoned homes in Los Angeles and Hollywood. The state wasted no time responding to the coyote invasion. Governor Newsom immediately granted them asylum and green cards.
• The Odyssey took in $400 million at the U.S. box office plus the ticket sales rolling in from other countries. The Odyssey premiered in Mexico City Friday and the next morning, a giant, 75-ft.-tall paper mache burro was left at the U.S. border wall. I saw it and thought, we're gonna need a bigger stick!
• The Hollywood Reporter reported Friday that the game show Jeopardy is expanding to include a streaming version of the quiz show as well as a YouTube edition. The celebrity version remains a fan favorite. Yesterday, Dr. Fauci went on Celebrity Jeopardy and pleaded the Fifth to every question.
• Business Week cited a report by Investor website detailing how Taco Bell became the world's #1 fast food franchise. However, the report came out in May. If the report had come out after the explosive diarrhea epidemic, it might have detailed how Taco Bell became #2, and the joke write itself.
• HBO's Bill Maher shocked his audience Friday by saying Trump's right to label the Democratic Socialists of America as communists. I'm not sure if Trump is being critical. Any communist takeover will result in dozens of states seceding and Trump will get 2 more terms as President of the Confederacy.
• Luigi Mangione's attorneys asked his judge Friday that his trial next month for the murder of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson be televised. No detail must be spared. If Mangione is convicted of murdering a capitalist he may get 5-10 years as head of the Democratic National Committee.
• Iran attacked two oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz Saturday, one was partially disabled and one got away, causing a temporary spike in oil futures. The pilot of the partially disabled tanker didn't mind. Partially disabled oil tankers get the best parking spots when they pull into at the Port of Houston.
• President Trump ordered new air attacks on Iran Saturday targeting oil and gas infrastructure. but Iran didn't budge. It's not the first time a country refused to be bombed into surrender. In 1958, former head of Nazi Germany's missile program and later dean of NASA Werner von Braun published his autobiography. It was titled I Aim for the Stars, to which British comedians added, But I Hit London.
