• The Karmelo Anthony guilty verdict for murdering a white teen incited fury by black protestors who say he was victimized by an all-white jury. Not true. The jury included Indians, Hispanics and Asians, who probably never picked up a golf club in their lives and don't deserve to be insulted like this.

• Democratic Socialist Graham Platner swept to victory in the Maine Senate primary on Tuesday preaching high taxes on billionaires and wealth re-distribution. It's a bit much for my Tory blood. I don't want to be a billionaire, I just want to be able to stare off into the distance while I'm pumping gas.

• Graham Platner was the darling of the Democratic Party Tuesday after he won the nomination for Senate in the fall election despite the tattoo of a German SS unit on his chest. Supporting him cost the party its favorite hole card. The next time the Democrats call Trump a Nazi, it's an endorsement.

• The Kansas City Chiefs extended quarterback Patrick Mahomes's contract that pays him a record breaking $522 million for the next 8 years. Mahomes was doing the Chiefs a big favor when he signed for $522 million. These days, Patrick could go back to Texas Tech and make twice that.

• The Atlanta Braves recently hosted a night honoring beloved former team owner Ted Turner at the stadium. Native American groups gathered outside the stadium to protest the team's name Braves and the Tomahawk Chop. The Indian ceremony failed to change the name but it did start raining.

• President Trump said Iran was lucky the 2 U.S. helicopter pilots they shot down were rescued or Iran would be a parking lot. The Iranians are really starting to try Trump's patience. Yesterday he renamed the negotiations The Apprentice: Nuclear Edition, and he's ready to tell the regime you're fired.

• The Southern Poverty Law Center was rapped in House hearings for funding hate groups with infiltrators who helped finance hate rallies to scare up donations. In one instance, a female SPLC infiltrator slept with an active neo-Nazi leader. I guess the SPLC isn't kidding when they say, screw hate.

• Congresswoman Summer Lee called on her fellow black American to boycott voting at the polls unless Democrats get behind reparations. The blame here is tricky. Kamala Harris's great-grandfather owned more slaves in Jamaica than my great-grandfather did in Alabama, and that's saying something.

• Nick Reiner demanded money from a trust fund set up by his parents Rob and Michelle Reiner so he can pay his defense for murdering them. He stabbed them to death in their home. Rich couples in Brentwood have a low enough birthrate without being reminded what can happen when you have kids.

• Belfast erupted in riots and arson over a Muslim Sudanese immigrant who almost beheaded an Irish citizen with a knife attack. The violent reaction has had one positive effect. Catholics and Protestants never thought in their wildest dreams they'd be fighting side by side in Northern Ireland.
