Barack Obama lectured Americans for ignoring an African boat disaster in the Mediterranean and being obsessed with the Titan submersible drama. The political Left has had no sympathy for the ultra-expensive Titanic sub misadventure. Progressives believe billionaires are good people, deep down.

Joe Rogan predicted record ratings for a cage match between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg set last week. This occurred while five other oligarchs perished inside a motorized flashlight diving down to the Titanic. It's looking more and more apparent that UFOs are billionaires from other planets.

The Ohio State Legislature passed a measure banning transgender women from participating in girls' and women's sports in schools last week. But it raised eyebrows when Lance Armstrong posted a strongly worded rant against transgender competitors demanding fairness in sports. The ball on that guy.

Ron DeSantis went to the Texas-Mexico border Monday and viewed the Rio Grande crossings and laid out his policy. He said he'll allow border patrol to fire on coyotes who try to breach the wall he plans to build. Right now the toothpaste aisle at CVS has better security than the U.S. southern border.

New York Mayor Eric Adams loaded up illegal immigrants sent to N.Y. from Texas and flew them to China Monday. They landed in a one-party state, with no freedom of speech, where everything is regulated, all supported by high-tech monopolies. And that was during their fueling stop in California.

India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi flew to Washington Thursday for bilateral talks with the U.S. He was treated to a State Dinner at the White House. Modi was pleasantly surprised to learn that like India the U.S. also has a caste system that includes the Untouchables, namely Hunter, Joe and Frank.

Vladimir Putin went on Russian TV Monday to tell Russians the Wagner Group rebellion had been halted. Actually they halted themselves with the coup leader Yevgeny Prighozhin agreeing to exile to Belarus. On arrival he was examined by a doctor and advised not to stand by any open windows.

The Economist advised student loan recipients to plan to repay them if the Supreme Court strikes down Biden's student loan debt forgiveness decree. The student loan forgiveness angers those of us who played by the rules. My parents put me through OU but it took me thirty years to pay off my bar tab.

USA Today says a Gallup poll says nurses are number one in Americans' assessment of ethics and honesty among a range of professions. Just last weekend, a scientist at Harvard who conducts studies on personal honesty got caught fabricating survey results. He's now conducting studies on irony.

The Weather Channel reported a stubborn high pressure system over the country now currently boiling the South from Texas and Oklahoma to the Carolina's. Forecasters see no end in sight soon. It's so hot in Texas this week that Texans are forgetting the Alamo and remembering the A La Mode.
