• The Hollywood Reporter said Tuesday that legendary Academy Award winning actor Al Pacino is going to be a father at the age of eighty-two. Just a month ago it was reported Robert DeNiro will become a father at age seventy-nine. If they aren't the godfather for each other's child, it's just not right.

• Speaker Kevin McCarthy worked furiously Tuesday to try to round up enough GOP votes to pass his budget compromise with the Democrats. Both parties got some goodies in the deal. After details were announced, my home loan self-identified as a student loan, and now I own my house free and clear.

• House Republicans barely got the Biden-McCarthy compromise budget deal approved for a vote on the House floor by the House Rules Committee Tuesday. An angry floor fight was scheduled for late Wednesday. I don't know what you call a male version of Karen, but a group of them is called Congress.

• House Republicans plan to cite FBI Director Chris Wray for contempt of Congress. They are demanding and he's refusing to turn over a document that whistleblowers say reveals a pay-for-play bribery scheme involving Joe Biden and a foreign national. The FBI said you have to be more specific.

• China is launching a space crew to test the effects of gravity on its space station ahead of their planned voyage to the moon next year. I think communists should be grateful for gravity. Otherwise all the guys that Vladimir Putin has pushed out of high-rise windows would just stay up there in the air.

• Billboard noted Tina Turner's passing in Switzerland as she was recovering from a stroke. One time when I performed in Chicago, I thought I was having a stroke while I was jogging. I felt a shooting pain up my arm and the ER doctor examined me and told me that sure enough, I'd been shot in the arm.
