• Illinois Governor and 2028 presidential candidate JB Pritzker stepped up his vituperative attacks on President Trump Monday, stating that the president has Alzheimer's Disease. It's a cheap shot signaling a new low in partisan caricatures of. the president. Trump is no longer Hitler, he's Joe Biden

• Bartenders Guide reports Cinco de Mayo celebrated Tuesday sells more beer and tequila than on Super Bowl Sunday. It celebrates a surprise victory by the Mexican army over the invading French army in the Battle of Puebla in 1862. Ah, the French --- everybody's favorite homecoming team opponent.

• Senator Elizabeth Warren took a lot of heat Monday over the loss of Spirit Airlines since she led the Senate's efforts blocking Spirit from merging with Jet Blue. She ignored the financial warning signs. You knew that Spirit Airlines was in trouble last month when they considered switching to gliders.

• Secretary of State Marco Rubio stepped in for Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt now on maternity leave to host a White House press conference Tuesday. Rubio was articulate, funny, knowledgeable and Marco looked very much like our first Spanish president. Democrats wasted no time calling him Franco.

• New York society and the fashion world turned out for the annual Met Gala charity ball Monday that charges $100,000 a ticket. It makes little sense to me. Considering that the Mets now have the losingest record in Major League Baseball, I don't understand why anyone is throwing a Gala for them.

• Charles Barkley is doing TV ads for Ro weight-loss pills with which he lost 45 pounds. He even said it improved his golf swing, voted by Golf Digest the worst swing in golf. Last week his caddy quit on the 6th tee to volunteer for the war in the Middle East where at least he'll have a fighting chance.

• Congresswoman Ilhan Omar faces a House committee investigating fraud, a deadline to produce financials. They're looking into if she engaged in Somali fraud, not to mention the weirdness of her first marriage. When that husband told Ilhan he'd been cheating on her, she shouted, I'm telling mom!

• Barack Obama said his wife, Michelle, objects to his risking himself in public by making speeches against Trump. The fact that he's required to have bulletproof glass in front of his podiums is a sign that America may still be racist. Just because he's black does not mean he's going to shoot anybody.

• Washington, D.C., Judge Farukui, the first Muslim federal judge, apologized three times in court to Trump's attempted assassin Cole Allen for his jail conditions. I'm very seldom astonished. It sounds to me like any law clerk who is studying U.S.-British legal traditions under this judge is attending Farouk U.

• JWR columnist Professor Victor David Hanson said Progressive Blue State public officials are so radical and entrenched in power it's created a new Mason Dixon line between Blue and Red States. That's the bad news, The good news is, 48 years ago my grandmother left me a trunk full of Confederate money.

• Trump ally Vivek Ramaswamy won the GOP primary election for governor of Ohio Tuesday. His GOP opponent reportedly resorted to using a racist campaign ad against the Indo-American. Let's guess what he did, he posed a photo of himself on a beach next to seashells he arranged to spell out 7-11. .
