• The Weather Channel issued warnings Tuesday of a high pressure heat dome that's causing dangerous heat levels in the United States in Texas, Louisiana and in Florida. It already feels like August across the south. It's so hot in Texas illegal aliens are waiting until night to come out of the river.

• NBC Sports announced Thursday the 2024 Tour de France will air live on the NBC Peacock Network in June, covering the world's best cyclists as they roll across France in a grueling three-week drama. The Tour de France goes back 84 years all the way to 1940. The first winner was a German tank.

• Donald Trump's trial went to the jury on Wednesday amid the circus atmosphere outside the courthouse. I'm sure the former president will get a fair shake in this court. In jury deliberations, Judge Merchan told the jurors even if they decide Trump is innocent, they are instructed to convict him.

• President Biden ditched reporters on Monday to go visit Beau Biden's widow and Hunter's subsequent lover Hallie who'll testify against Hunter Monday. Her share in the millions raised by Hunter overseas could be at risk. The Bidens are the only family in America that issue tribal allotments.

• The Gaza pier just built by the U.S. Navy sank in choppy seas Sunday, suspending aid by ship to Palestinians. We also suspended dropping aid crates by parachute for fear of crushing people if the chute doesn't open. We've seen enough Roadrunner-Coyote cartoons to know that if it can happen, it will.

• P Diddy posted a video confessing his well-known penchant for violence against women last weekend. It was no secret in L.A. Back in 2012, Diddy totaled his Escalade on Sunset Boulevard, and when the police arrived they saw all the body damage and asked him how long he'd been dating the car.
