President Biden got out of the White House Friday to mark Cinco de Mayo by paying a surprise visit to a Washington D.C. taco stand, Taquero Habanero. He enjoyed eating a taco with several other diners. It was the first time in two and a half years Joe has been able to get gas under three dollars.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavorov warned Friday that the U.S. and Russia are close to an armed conflict. There is no concern or protest about the possibility of nuclear war on any U.S. college campus. I say so what if college kids don’t know what Armageddon means, it’s not the end of the world.

Politico reported that President Biden plans to campaign mostly from the White House and letting his policies do the talking. He’s nothing if not consistent. On NFL Draft day last week President Biden promised he’ll name a black woman to replace Aaron Rodgers as quarterback of the Green Bay Packers.

The NFL was sued by employees claiming the league engages in gender discrimination through lack of opportunities for women and pay disparities. The league denied the claim, pointing out there are even female referees now. They throw the flag for penalties the team committed five years ago.

President Biden last week limited his work to two photo ops and one meeting with the Filipino president. That doesn’t mean the administration isn’t tackling our next imminent threat head on. Kamala Harris is now in charge of Artificial Intelligence which was her nickname at Howard University.

A Pew Research Center survey on the dating scene found that Americans in the dating market looking for a committed relationship say dating has become harder over the last ten years. Chin up. I have always felt that if two people love each other, nothing is impossible, except deciding where to eat.

Boston Red Sox fans posted video of the concession stands at the afternoon ballgame at Fenway Park Tuesday showing no lines for Bud Light but long lines at the other beer stands. Red Sox fans are so conservative they changed the ground rules. Every plate appearance starts with two balls on the batter.
