Scotland's Police were ordered to enforce a hate crime that would allow comedy club customers to report and charge a comic who said something insensitive that offended them. It makes me glad that I'm here and as old as I am. They can't tell me what I can and cannot say in a country that I colonized.

Bobby Kennedy horrified CNN Tuesday when he told a CNN interviewer the threat to democracy is Biden, not Trump. I understand CNN's horror. My father always said the only newspaper he reads is the Daily Oklahoman, because he doesn't want his mind to be cluttered up by opposing points of view.

Israel vowed to keep pushing Hamas in the South while attacking Hezbollah in the North. I have a peace plan. Perhaps the number of cross-border raids between Israelis and Palestinians in the South and Israelis and Hezbollah in the North could be reduced by strategically placed UN pig farms.

The House of Representatives voted to pass a bill to ban Tik Tok in the U.S. unless a U.S. company buys Tik Tok from the holding company in China that owns Tik Tok. Yet the final passage of the bill is being held up in the Senate. Without Tik Tok, the senators don't know what they'll do at work all day.

President Biden visits Baltimore Friday to view what's left of the Francis Scott Key Bridge and has vowed to rebuild it. The administration's inspectors cleared up what caused the disaster. The bridge collapse was the direct result of climate change and the January 6th attempt to overthrow our democracy.

The White House said President Biden spent two hours on the phone with China's President Xi on Tuesday to discuss hot issues of mutual interest. The Chinese people exist in a different world. The title of the Chinese National Anthem is March of the Volunteers, but everybody is required to sing it.

California lawmakers passed a law banning restaurants from providing single use plastic straws for customers because if these straws wind up in the ocean, they could choke marine life. I'd like to challenge this law in court. If a single use plastic straw can also kill a turtle then it's not single use, is it?
