• NBA coaching legend Phil Jackson said he stopped watching NBA games, saying players have turned it into a political soapbox. It's left and right. The players express support for the progressive agenda with social justice phrases printed on jerseys, and Donald Trump's favorite player is John Wall.
• Santa Fe prosecutors dropped charges against Alec Baldwin Thursday in the shooting death on his movie set in New Mexico. While standing in front of the movie cameras, Alec's gun went off, shot and killed his cinematographer, but now he won't have to stand trial for it. Even O.J. can't believe it.
• Elon Musk stayed in the news all week by vowing to sue Microsoft and promising to create a new Artificial Intelligence, and labeling NPR as government propaganda on Twitter. Then Thursday, Musk's big rocket exploded only two minutes into flight. In Elon's defense, that happens to a lot of guys
• Democratic Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro called for gender equity in car safety testing Friday in House hearings. She actually demanded that half of the crash dummies used be female crash dummies. The difference is, the male dummies are too proud to stop and ask for directions to the wall.
• The Wall Street Journal said President Biden's cognitive decline is obvious to anybody who isn't blind. They said a president who is mentally loopy invites chaos, and may I add comedy. What could be funnier than overthrowing a mad English King only to wind up with a choice between Biden and Trump.
• President Biden in the Rose Garden Friday created a White House Environmental Justice Board tasked to ensure that poverty, race or ethnicity isn't unfairly harmed. As always he was wearing his reflector sunglasses. He wore them a few years ago in a poker tournament and had to take the bus home.
• Donald Trump is accused of defaming a journalist for denying he raped her by saying she wasn't his type. Trump's bachelor life in the Seventies, covered extensively by the New York tabloids, was spent pursuing beauty queens. If I learned one thing in college it's that beauty is in the eye of the beer holder.
• Pew Research reported that Millennials are leading the shift away from organized religion. Jesus couldn't feed 5,000 Millennials with five loaves and seven fish. They'd have declined, saying they are vegan, or asked if the fish has been tested for mercury, and demanded to know if the bread is gluten-free.
