The Los Angeles Marathon was run Sunday, closing down the city between Dodger Stadium and Santa Monica and enjoying a record number of runners. Our event isn't nearly as famous as the New York or Boston marathons. Most people think the Los Angeles Marathon is sitting through the Academy Awards.

• New York City police and the Secret Service will be deployed at the Manhattan Courthouse today to ensure order if Trump is indicted by the Democratic DA. Trump could become the first man in the history of our justice system to go to jail and get a better haircut. This is why they call it March Madness.

• Donald Trump said Saturday illegal leaks from the New York District Attorney's office revealed he will be indicted today. The good news is, if Trump is in jail, at least he will have the Secret Service there to protect him from suicide. Nevertheless I don't doubt that Hillary will think of something.

• President Biden held a St. Patrick's Day lunch at the White House for Ireland's Prime Minister and notable Irish Americans. He drew embarrassed laughter telling Irish drunk jokes and Irish incarceration jokes. Biden boasted that he never took a drink in his life, but tell that to the camera man.

• Hunter Biden sued the laptop repairman for ruining his reputation by releasing his laptop, which showed him drunk, doing cocaine and having sex with hookers. I'd advise Hunter, if you want to create a good reputation, do what I'm doing. Slowly and surely outlive everyone who knew what an idiot you were.

• The San Francisco City Council is slated to vote on a slave reparations proposal from the city's appointed Reparations Board that could set a precedent. They propose giving every black citizen in the city five million dollars. In San Francisco, that would allow them to buy a two bedroom fixer-upper.

• CNBC says the SVB failure began with the inflation caused by the Covid relief trillions, making the bank's treasury bonds a loss, requiring riskier loans. Anxiety spread on social media resulting in a withdrawal panic via cell phones. The economy hasn't been this bad since the Atlantis Bank went under.

• Sky News aired dramatic footage of mobs of Frenchmen rioting in Paris and defying police and military attempts to halt the protesting violence. They're refusing to accept government attempts to raise the national retirement age. To make a Frenchman brave tell him he has work until he's sixty-four.

• Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg hosted an FAA meeting Thursday to work out air safety issues with experts. His zeal for equity is a non-starter when it comes to air safety. Panic erupted on a Delta flight last week when the captain of an all-female crew announced that everything is just fine.
