President Biden spoke in Poland on the war's anniversary Tuesday and pointed to his sanctions' effect on Putin's regime. Last year McDonald's, Coca-Cola, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut pulled out of Russia. Due to Biden's sanctions, the Russian people are now the healthiest they've ever been in history.

New Orleans hosted thousands of celebrants in the French Quarter Tuesday for the annual Mardi Gras party in the French Quarter. In college, my fraternity brothers and I went down to Mardi Gras and I learned the first rule of the French Quarter. NEVER pick up a woman wearing a Super Bowl ring.

Pope Francis hosted a huge solemn Ash Wednesday beginning the 40-day season of fasting. One poll asking what Americans are giving up is not good news. Twenty percent of Americans say they're giving up sugar and twenty percent say they're giving up alcohol, and sixty percent say they're giving up.

George Washington's Birthday celebration at his Mount Vernon plantation Wednesday included the unveiling of a painting of his inauguration ceremony in 1789. His first Inaugural Address to the nation lasted a minute and a half. I guess if a politician cannot tell a lie, there's little else left to say.

Las Vegas Strip founder Bugsy Siegel's house where he was murdered in 1947 just listed for $17 million. If you're crazy you don't stand out in this town. In Beverly Hills the distance from your house to your mail box shows how far you can walk in your robe without looking like a mental patient.

I understand the fear among young people that Biden is inciting. Nothing scares me like an eighty year old man who's willing to die for his country.

Secretary of State Anthony Blinken flew to Turkey on Tuesday to meet with earthquake victims and pledge millions toward rebuilding all the collapsed buildings. Did he have to go there on Shrove Tuesday? Leave it to the Biden Administration to console Turkey's earthquake victims on Pancake Day.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said he will visit the Ohio chemical spill victims when the time is right. He just could be as arrogant as I am. Yesterday I was stuck in an L.A. traffic jam and I caught myself missing the good old days back when all the other drivers were in the hospital with Covid.

GOP candidate Nikki Haley was blasted as a brown person pushing white supremacy by critics on CNN and MSNBC Tuesday. This attack came the day after Don Lemon and Whoopi Goldberg said she's past her prime at age 51. She's old enough for Leonardo DiCaprio to be dating her granddaughter.

Jimmy Carter entered home hospice care Saturday as historians reviewed his presidency. In 1979, radical Muslim Iranians overthrew the Shah, seized 52 Americans and held them hostage for over a year. Today it's difficult to describe to young people the extent to which some people hated disco music.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said East Palestine won't receive FEMA money because Norfolk Southern Railroad agreed to pay toxic damages. He's playing it by the book. Pete Buttigieg appeared on a video call Saturday and promised to investigate the chemical spill for any signs of racism.

Mike Pence vowed to fight a subpoena by Trump's Special Counsel investigating the January 6th U.S. Capitol invasion and Trump's culpability for it. Both political parties provide the entertainment.
