• The Weather Channel reports last week's Arctic storm that swept the nation did less damage to the South than anticipated. After a week of highway travel warnings before the storm, Southerners were relieved Saturday to see there is just snow on the roads. It looks like those anti-ICE protests worked.
• Variety reports that Dylan Mulvaney, transgender woman and Bud Lite commercial star whose endorsement crashed Anheuser-Busch stock in 2023, will play Anne Boleyn on Broadway. For 500 years the worst thing that ever happened to Anne Boleyn was being beheaded. That is no longer true.
• President Trump was urged to invoke the Insurrection Act on Minnesota rioters. At the rate the brawling is escalating, it's only a matter of time before Minneapolis changes its name to Waffle House Minnesota. If we had just let them eat the Tide Pods eight years ago none of this would be happening.
• Minneapolis protestors accuse ICE of kidnapping a 5-year-old boy after his illegal immigrant father took off and left him behind in 10-below weather. Actually ICE simply took the abandoned boy into protective custody. ICE has now watched more kids in Minneapolis than a Somali Day Care Center.
• Somali-American Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is under House probe for her sudden wealth this past year on a $175,000 House salary. In a related story, National Geographic just announced that the nation of Somalia doesn't exist, it never has. It's just a drop box at the post office in Minneapolis.
• President Trump vowed to put a 100% tariff on all goods from Canada if they enact a free trade deal they floated with China. This could tighten up and improve the U.S. labor market. As an American, I am sick and tired of Canadians coming down to this country and taking jobs away from our Mexicans.
• New York Socialist Mayor Mamdani's cabinet members caused a furor by ripping private property as a tool of white privilege. The saloon crowd in New York now enjoys playing the Mayor Mamdani Drinking Game. Every time he mentions a new free government program you chug somebody else's beer.
• Minority Leader Chuck Schumer declared Friday that Senate Democrats will not advance the spending bill if it includes ICE funding and that the shutdown will begin January 31st. Chuck added that dark days are upon us. Now is that anything for a Democrat to say to kick off Black History Month?
• CBS News under new conservative corporate ownership last week successfully launched its newscast with anchor Tony Dokoupil who drew 6 million viewers, offering a centrist viewpoint and no partisan political edge. It left Generation Z asking the world one simple question. What the hell is CBS?
• The Dead Internet conspiracy theory holds that the Internet is run by bots and algorithms not humans. Another theory claims Covid vaccines planted microchip trackers in us. Scientists warn that the Earth could run completely out of conspiracy theories by 2027 if they keep coming true at the current rate.
