The Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma Sooners storied football programs left the Big Twelve last week and entered the Southeastern Conference. The sport is a religion in the South. On Friday, white smoke was seen emanating from Cracker Barrel signifying that Alabama has selected a new coach.

Los Angeles hosted the biggest Martin Luther Birthday Parade in the nation Monday extending across South Central L.A. You talk about progress. Dr. King would be proud to know that black men today are not judged by the color of their skin in Los Angeles but by which Kardashian they are banging.

Daily Variety reported forty million viewers watched Green Bay embarrass the Dallas Cowboys at home in Dallas on Sunday. The game got ugly quickly. In the second quarter, two security guards grabbed a Dallas Cowboy fan who got up from his seat to leave and forced him to watch the entire game.

Fox NFL analyst Jimmy Johnson went on a halftime rant against the Dallas Cowboys for the way they played. Jimmy coached the Cowboys to two Super Bowl wins then Jerry Jones fired him. The difference between Jerry Jones and Lorena Bobbitt's husband is that Jerry cut off his own Johnson.

The Washington Post cites feuding between the Obamas and Bidens over campaign strategy against Trump. Going full-Hitler may not work after what they saw on TV in Iowa Monday night. If there's one thing the Democrats don't know how to handle, it's a Trump who behaves himself onstage.

The White House gate was stormed by a mob of sign-waving pro-Palestinian protestors Sunday who oppose U.S. support for Israel. It drew a huge crowd. Half of the people were protestors, while half of them were locals who thought that Free Palestine was a special offer on a new prescription drug.

Rice University brought DEI into science Monday by offering a course called Afro-Chemistry with no exams that will address inequities in chemistry and chemical education. Here we go again. The first class will discuss how the Patriarchy tells marginalized people not to mix ammonia with bleach.

Martin Luther King Day was marked with solemnity in the black community Monday. At least in most places. Atlanta's District Attorney Fani Willis addressed the Big Bethel AME Church congregation and discussed the lawyer she's screwing, I guess because Methodists don't have confession booths.
