The Biden administration keeps hampering Israel at every turn. We knew this was coming, even in the early days after the October 7th murderous attacks into the Jewish state by Hamas. Biden's early supportive rhetoric towards Israel slowly faded as he pivoted left as the days and weeks went on.
Most political savvy observers know that Biden is an empty political vessel controlled by Obama and those who served under the Obama administration. Many of Obama's key players are instilled within Biden's regime including Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.
It's no secret that Obama's loyalties were never with the Jewish state. His appeasement and monetary support of Iran set the stage for Biden to continue that same policy. Obama's distaste and disrespect for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has continued under Biden's administration. Even after October 7th Biden has not suspended funds to Iran, even though Iran is behind the Hamas reign of terror. As the old axiom states, with friends like these, who needs enemies?
And now, yet again, Biden trashed Israel and the Israeli government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. It happened at a private fundraiser in Washington, DC, last Friday, after telling guests at the White House Hanukkah party the night before of his admiration for Israel. Lying is simply part of who Biden is, he's been doing it all of his life.
The Times of Israel reported that at that fundraiser Biden accused Israel of "indiscriminate bombing" in Gaza. Biden provided no evidence. Biden also said that Netanyahu had to replace members of his democratically-elected governing coalition, and accept a Palestinian state. What a slime ball. Israel is in the middle of fighting for its very existence and Biden starts demanding a Palestinian state.
The Times of IsraelÊsaid: US President Joe Biden says Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu needs to change his hardline government that has made it very difficult for the international community to back Israel in the war against Hamas. The president also says Israel is losing global support due to its "indiscriminate bombing" in Gaza.
"This is the most conservative government in Israel's history," Biden says during a campaign fundraiser in Washington, adding that the Netanyahu-led coalition "doesn't want a two-state solution" Ñ the path Washington has called for after the war with Hamas. Last month, Biden also used the word "indiscriminate" to describe Israel's bombing campaign in Gaza. Biden repeats Hamas lies and knows full-well that by doing so, he erodes Jewish support throughout the world, not to mention on American college campuses.
Right on cue, The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), whose executive director celebrated the October 7 Hamas terror attack, began citing President Joe Biden's erroneous claim to donors on Tuesday that Israel engages in "indiscriminate bombing." This past Wednesday CAIR issued a press statement repeating claims fromÊAl JazeeraÊthat Israeli soldiers "executed" civilians at a school. CAIR said:Ê"Our nation must stop enabling what even President Biden privately admits is theÊÔindiscriminate' targetingÊof innocent Palestinians."
This week Israel responded to Biden's claim that the Jewish state engaged in "indiscriminate bombing" of Gaza. Eylon Levy, an Israeli government spokesman said that Israel was taking extraordinary measures to protect Palestinian civilians, even as Hamas used them as human shields. He stressed that the Israel Defense Forces are "making efforts that no army in history has made in order to protect civilians" in a counter-terrorism operation in urban areas.
Biden is no friend of Israel, and actually no friend to the United States. He really has no allegiance to anything other than his own political career and his family's wealth. The man is empty, which is why he is the perfect puppet for the progressive America-hating Left. He will do and say what he is told by his handlers.
Israel needs America's support both financially and politically. They can't afford to antagonize Biden too much. But even more important than that, it is incumbent that Israel stay strong and determined in their war to rid the Middle East of those who call for the obliteration of Israel and the genocide of all Jewish people. Israel must not back down. They must totally eradicate Hamas.
If not now, then when?
