An attribute of President Trump's personality that is rarely talked about is his wonderful sense of fun.

Leftists never speak of it; they are focused on dehumanizing Trump as much as possible. It wouldn't do for them to acknowledge that the man has a good sense of humor, it doesn't coincide with their "Trump is Hitler" nonsense.

But Donald Trump supporters get it. We've seen it all along and we love it. Trump is a showman, and he enjoys making people laugh. He has a natural sense of fun that he's able to share with his supporters.

He brought his sense of fun with him when he entered politics and his opponents hated him for it. If he said anything in a joking manner, the media pretended that he was serious. Or maybe they really believed he was serious. Because they themselves have no sense of humor. In any case, they used it against him, but we Trump loyalists knew better.

We got the jokes and understood that the media and other Trump haters were doing everything they could to tear him down.

Another president with a great sense of fun was Ronald Reagan. Reagan loved to tell jokes and engage audiences with his humorous stories. One of his most famous jokes was the one about the kittens. He told it just this way:

Did you hear the story about the kid who was outside the Democratic fundraiser selling kittens? When the people came out from the fundraiser, he was holding up the kittens, and he was saying, "Buy a Democrat kitten."

Well, a couple of weeks later the Republicans held a fundraiser in the same place. And when they came out, there was the same kid with the kittens. And he said, "Buy a Republican kitten.'' And one of the members of the press who'd seen him there 2 weeks before said, "Wait a minute, kid. You were selling these kittens the last time as Democrat kittens. How come they're Republican kittens now?"

Kid says, "Because now they've got their eyes open."

And just as President Trump's humor has often been used out of context and turned against him, one of President Reagan's jokes was similarly met with derision and called irreverent and hostile.

On August 11, 1984, before his weekly radio talk, President Reagan joked, "My fellow Americans, I'm pleased to tell you today that I've signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing in five minutes."

President Abraham Lincoln was famous for having a good sense of humor and entertaining his audiences with jokes and funny stories. Once when Stephen Douglas accused Lincoln of being "two faced," Lincoln shot back, "If I really had two faces, do you think I'd hide behind this one?"

Referring to General Grant, Lincoln's most successful military leader but known for his heavy drinking, Lincoln once said, "Well, I wish some of you would tell me the brand of whiskey that Grant drinks. I would like to send a barrel of it to my other generals."

Most normal people like having a president with a healthy sense of fun. Joe Biden didn't have that quality. Yes, he told stories, but they weren't jokes, they were just stupid personal stories with no basis in fact or humor. Barack Obama absolutely was devoid of any humor whatsoever. He delighted in talking down to people with an elite supercilious attitude. He was more at home in lecturing others than in engaging in any kind of fun. An arrogant, priggish snob.

As far as Kamala Harris is concerned, just because you throw back your head, open your mouth and cackle like a jackass doesn't mean you have a sense of humor. I have always gotten the impression that in private she must be one of the most nasty, humorless people around.

Now, at last we have a president who has a real ability to have fun, and by the way, make America Great Again. And in so doing he will allow many more Americans to have better paying jobs, more affordable housing, lower prices on goods, lower taxes, safer streets, and greater opportunities.

In short, President Trump will allow more Americans to enjoy life and have fun again.
