Blood in the Streets

After President Trump's speech at the conclusion of the Republican Convention in Washington, D.C. last week protesters harassed and blocked people as they were trying to leave.

As people were walking back to their cars and hotels (many were older people and many were families), mobs ran up, screamed obscenities directly into their faces and pushed them.

A crowd swarmed and shouted at Sen. Rand Paul and his wife as they left that night to walk back to their hotel. A police officer escorting the Kentucky Republican appeared to get shoved into Paul. He and his wife later said they thought they would be killed.

Indeed, Paul said that many in the crowd were shouting "We're gonna fÉ you up!" and "We're gonna kill you!"

At one point Sen. Paul asked for the police to call for backup. One officer told him that they did, but no backup ever arrived.

After hearing about the event and seeing the video of it, President Trump said people attending his speech at the White House on Thursday night "walked out to a bunch of thugs ... That wasn't friendly protesters. They were thugs."

Referring to Sen. Paul, "He'd either be in very bad shape, or dead, and that would include his wife, if those policemen didn't happen to be there." The president accused the Democrat mayor of Washington, Muriel Bowser, of giving police "bad instructions."

It was bound to happen.

When you have rioting, looting, destruction and complete civil disorder in the streets, it is called anarchy. When authorities, Democrat mayors and governors to be precise, instruct the police to stand down and let the destruction go on then it is only a matter of time before someone gets killed. Well people have been getting killed.

The latest was in Portland a night or two following President Trump's speech.

A young man, Aaron Danielson, was a supporter of President Trump and a member of a patriot group when a supporter of Antifa and Black Lives Matter murdered him. The mainstream media has reported that Danielson was killed while partaking in riots in Portland, Oregon on Saturday, but that is a lie. Audio captured by investigative journalists on the streets that night tells a different story: Danielson was TARGETED and then BLM protesters CELEBRATED his death.

A video was posted to the internet of a woman in Portland shouting into a bullhorn, "Our community can hold its own without the policeÉI am not sorry a f--- fascist died tonight!" That was followed by cheers and applause from the crowd.

The murder suspect under investigation following the fatal shooting has been named as 48-year-old Michael Forest Reinoehl, a father of two who describes himself as "100% ANTIFA."

He had already been accused of taking a loaded gun to an earlier Portland protest and social media posts show him attending Black Lives Matter protests.

The Independent Sentinel reported an eyewitness account of the murder of Aaron Danielson by a friend who was with him that night. He said Danielson was shot to death simply for wearing a Patriot Prayer hat, and perhaps for his blue lives matter insignia. Aaron and his friend were merely walking down the street and nothing precipitated the killing.

They were not armed or looking for trouble. They were there merely to stand up for their beliefs against the communists who have destroyed Portland, he said.

But they were wearing Patriot Prayer caps. Patriot Prayer is a Christian conservative, pro-American group. They support President Trump; therefore they are targets of the antifa and BLM mobs.

If the Democrats keep allowing this stuff to go on, law-abiding people will realize that they cannot rely on their elected officials to protect them. We will be seeing more and more pro-law and order Americans taking to the streets themselves to combat the anarchists.

If government will not protect the citizen, then the citizen must do what he can to protect himself. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why we have a Second Amendment.

On another subject, it looks like all the Democrats have decided that maybe the best thing for them to do, is not have debates with Republicans.

Washington Democratic Governor Inslee has refused to engage in an in-person debate with his Republican challenger.

A couple of weeks ago Nancy Pelosi recommended that Biden not have any debates with President Trump.

This is an extension of what has been going on for years on college campuses, an extended "speech code" silencing of the opposition. A way of denying those who disagree with liberal dogma an opportunity to speak and be heard. They say that they don't want to "dignify" their lying opponents by engaging them in debate, but of course the fact is they're afraid to debate.

They know they can't win a debate with their far left communist manifesto agenda. Let the debates begin!

The sooner, the better. The more the merrier.
