No one can predict the future of anything, let alone a presidential election outcome, with any degree of certainty. And yet we have an entire industry devoted to doing just that. Pollsters, political writers, pundits, and all other sorts of media "experts" make their living expounding, opining, and divining how the results will shake out. Fact is, they don't know. It's all guesswork or maybe wishful thinking.
Having said that, I will now tell you exactly what the future holds following the November election. No, I can't tell you who will win, or even who will be nominated. What I do know is this, whomever our next president is will be presiding over a divided country. Half of the people will not be satisfied with the outcome and will let their dissatisfaction be known. That I can predict with certainty.
The hard Left (including most elected Democrats and almost all of the media) has unfairly vilified President Trump to such a degree that he is now spoken of in their circles as a demonic man who is worse than Hitler. The hyperbole name-calling and character assassination of Republican candidates by the Democrats is nothing new. They did it to President Nixon, President Reagan, both President Bushes, and Mitt Romney. But when it came to President Trump they pulled out all the stops. It is no longer enough to vilify the man; they must destroy him anyway they can. That is the goal.
I'm sure they didn't count on Trump voters continuing to support him after all the indictments and false charges levied on him by the Democrat establishment. If anything, support for Donald Trump only grew with each charge. Dems are at a point now that they must bankrupt him or jail him to keep him out of office.
The Democrats depend on the press, social media, and the entertainment media to help them spread the word that Donald Trump must be stopped otherwise our country will be lost. They depend on people forgetting that he was president for four years and our country actually got better and stronger during his time in office. His supporters haven't forgotten that and that's why they continue to back him.
A lot can happen in the run up to the election. There are plenty of scenarios. If Biden stays in, propped up by the establishment, or Biden drops out and is replaced with someone else it won't matter. Either way the vitriol on the Left towards Donald Trump will go on. The indictments will go on.
If the Democrats are able to pull out a win (by hook or by crook) then many Republicans will claim the election was stolen yet again. Nothing will get better, the progressive woke policies will go on, the crime in the streets will go on, the rioting will go on, and the division in our country will be even worse. Prices will remain high and American prestige will continue to be eroded.
If the Democrats win by successfully putting the former president in prison, things might really get ugly. We will see a divide like never before. Trump supporters will see this as proof positive that the America they have always known has been changed by progressives and in fact democracy is dead. By nature, conservatives don't normally riot and act up when things don't go their way, but actually jailing President Trump may well push them over the top.
On the other hand, if President Trump does win the election, better policies will be put into place, the economy will get better and our position in world affairs will improve. However, we will witness rioting like never before. Remember what happened the first time Donald Trump was elected, how the Left filled the streets with protesters carrying placards with the word RESIST! Remember how liberals on campuses and workplaces were actually in tears, adults openly weeping over an election. Remember how the deep state turned on newly elected President Trump instantly and did everything in their power to go against him and his policies. Remember how they cooked up fake conspiracy stories and out and out lies that have long ago been debunked.
If President Trump is reelected things will be even worse this time around. The RESIST movement and the George Floyd riots of 2020 and the antisemitic pro-Hamas mobs that are going on now will pale in comparison to what will break out after a Trump win. And the Left will make sure that thought is in the minds of all voters from now until election day. Scare tactics are what they do best.
No matter who wins the presidential election, there will be no good outcome for our country, sad to say. That is my prediction and you can bet on it.
