The Transportation Department reports that 140 million Americans were on the road this Labor Day weekend. So it was the perfect time for Amtrak to announce Thursday that they will soon have a 160 mph super train. This means that the train will get to the crash site in half the time it usually takes.

Fed Governor Lisa Cook sued Trump for firing her for her mortgage fraud allegations. We're on the brink of sports history. One more attempt by Democrats to sue Trump, indict Trump, convict Trump, shoot Trump or remove Trump from office and he ties Rocky Marciano's 49-0 record in the ring.

The 2025 NFL season kicked off Thursday with Las Vegas odds makers posting the Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bill as favorites to meet in the Super Bowl. There was also some heartbreaking news for Cowboys fans. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was found alive in his home today at age 82.

President Trump announced plans to allow 300,000 Chinese college students to earn degrees at colleges in the US. It prompted an angry reaction from House conservatives. I think it may be a brilliant plan by Trump to dumb down the population of China by inviting them to study at American universities.

Newsweek noted that transgender shooter Robin Westman ignited a fierce debate in the media over transgender rage, mental illness and gun control after last week's murders. The police released Westman's hate-filled manifesto Wednesday. Already there's a rumor that the shooter was on his period.

Governor Gavin Newsom was interviewed in a Politico podcast Thursday in which he accused Trump of planning to deploy National Guard troops to polling places on Election Day in 2028 and cancel the election. His hair is on fire about Trump and I'm not surprised. Hair gel is highly flammable.

Mexico cartel kingpin El Mayo pleaded guilty in New York to drug trafficking Thursday and agreed to hand over $15 billion cash to the US in exchange for life imprisonment instead of the death penalty. Street prices tell the story. The cartels went from making millions to billions once they switched to coffee

The White House fired CDC Director Susan Monarez Thursday amid her battle with Secretary Bobby Kennedy over his vaccine policies. I don't know who to believe, but I learned one thing during Covid. Pharmaceutical companies believe as an article of faith that A Cured Patient is a Lost Customer.

Reverend Al Sharpton led a vocal march of black protestors down Wall Street Thursday against rollbacks of DEI hiring programs. My views on civil rights have evolved over the years. Today I have a dream that one day our nation will be a place where Cracker Barrel and Popeye's can share customers.

Cracker Barrel responded to the outrage of their customers and announced they have gotten rid of the new restaurant logo and ambience. They said they listened to their customers and agreed to give everybody what they wanted. From now on, the restaurant will be called Redskins Barrel.

Taylor Swift showed photos of NFL star Travis Kelce proposing marriage to her while announcing their engagement to the world. Everyone was deliriously happy at first. Unfortunately the referee overturned Travis Kelce's marriage proposal ruling that his knee never touched the ground.

The University of Texas signed Austin-based Dulce Vida Tequila as a corporate sponsor for the Texas Longhorns football team this fall. It's for those who love adventure. Taking more than six shots of tequila at night is just another way of saying you like where you wake up to always be a surprise.

Kid Rock applauded the president for steering Cracker Barrel back to their original logo and putting DEI policies to flight. This week Cracker Barrel declared itself a sanctuary restaurant for Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben and the Land O'Lakes Indian girl. Tonight's floor show stars Roseanne Barr.

The Wall Street Journal reported the US government purchased 10% of the chip maker Intel on top of acquiring a stake in US Steel. It's clearly a breach of the free market. President Trump vowed that the government will keep acquiring stakes in corporations until we defeat socialism once and for all.

A Vanity Fair editor caused a staff furor by floating a cover article on Melania Trump. They did three covers of Michelle Obama and two of Jill Biden, however Melania is spectacularly beautiful. Asian kids trying to get into Harvard identify with Melania because she's being excluded for ruining the curve.
