• Vermont Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders said if Joe Biden drops out of the presidential race in two years he will run again. At least he's consistent. Back when Bernie was a boy growing up in New York, whenever his friends played Cowboys and Indians, Bernie would play the Chinese railroad worker.
• The Senate will consider a bipartisan bill for gun safety in the wake of shootings in Uvalde and Buffalo. It's touchy. In Blue States, gun control mans a ban on long guns, a ban on large magazines, and a ban on 9mm handguns, while in Red States gun control means using both hands for better aim.
• Nancy Pelosi led a House delegation to L.A. for the closing of the Summit of Americas conference Friday. That day, her husband of sixty years Paul Pelosi was assigned an August court date for his drunken driving arrest. The judge turned down Paul's request for three months in jail and no visitation.
