• The U.S. Geological Society reports San Diego residents on Monday morning got a violent shake from a magnitude 5.2 earthquake. It was nearly much worse. Everyone in San Diego was just relieved the earthquake was not centered twenty miles away in Mexico or it would have been a 7.6 with the tariff.
• The WNBA held its player draft last weekend ahead of the season starting in May. The WNBA draft telecast was sponsored by Dick's Sporting Goods, which is a new WNBA sponsor this coming season. This will give Progressives a chance to turn on the TV every night and enjoy Chicks with Dick's.
• Bernie Sanders received a rapturous ovation from the crowd at the Coachella Music Festival near Palm Springs Sunday where he talked income equality to people who paid $12 000 a ticket. The guy aggravates me. Twice a year Bernie takes one hour of my sleep and gives it to somebody more deserving.
• Joe Biden returned to center stage Monday when the former president flew to Chicago to deliver a paid speech to a convention of the Conference for the Advocates of the Disabled. He himself hasn't lost a step onstage. Attendees will never forget the opening words of Joe's speech, Hello Shriners!
