• NBC News reported that violent protests at Tesla dealerships spread up north to Canada this past week. I must say I deplore all the destruction of private property at Tesla dealerships. However on the bright side, you can now put swastikas on your Tesla and people will just think you've been vandalized.
• President Trump announced Monday that Hyundai has agreed to build a $6 billion steel mill in Louisiana near Baton Rouge. It's progress to see that Hyundai is trying other things besides car manufacturing. The last three pages of a Hyundai owner's manual are the local bus and train schedules.
• The White House opened up the president's entire cabinet meeting to TV cameras Tuesday. This is easily the most open and accessible administration in my lifetime. Yesterday Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and I were just kicking it around on Telegram and agreed on an invasion plan for China.
• Atlantic editor Jeffrey Goldberg was invited in on a Signal chat group planning the U.S. bombing of Yemen, and he snap-chatted the texts. It helped to keep everything under wraps. Since no one has read the Atlantic for years, it was the securest possible place to store U.S. war plans and keep them secret.
• Senate Democrats on the Intelligence Committee demanded that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth resign over the Houti attack strategy session via text on Signal that accidentally included the Atlantic editor. You'd think Democrats would go easier on Hegseth. Pete was the administration's only DUI hire.
• President Trump signed an order requiring proof of U.S. citizenship in order to vote. It could be stricter. The Los Angeles Country Club requires a $250,000 membership fee, your Protestant confirmation certificate, and a genealogy chart proving that you have never had an actor in your family.
• DOJ lawyers appealed U.S. Judge Boasberg's attempt to halt the deportation of Salvadoran and Venezuelan criminal gangs. Activist judges are also trying to rein in DOGE and DEI. Yesterday the partisan lawfare from the bench went too far when a U.S. District Judge ruled that Tim Walz is straight.
• Senator Bernie Sanders and Congresswoman AOC are doing rallies to rile up socialists against the billionaires and oligarchs they see who are running the country. Jeff Bezos and Laura Sanchez sent out their wedding invitations this past weekend. They are registered at Bed, Bath and Beyond Evil.
• Postmaster General Louis DeJoy resigned amid protests by postal workers against Wells Fargo's offer to privatize mail delivery. I don't understand why the USPS is under the gun. Last year the U.S. Postal Service lost $9.5 billion, making it by far the most profitable branch of the U.S. government.
• The London Telegraph reports Miss Scotland Lucy Thomson was convicted in court for calling a security guard the N-word while he was kicking her out of the stadium during a rugby match in Perth. It's now against the law in Scotland to say racial slurs. Actual music is returning to the airwaves.
