
• Elon Musk gave federal workers a second chance to state by e-mail five things they did last week while working for the U.S. government, and if they don't reply they're fired. The blowback is fierce. The federal workers say the e-mail is unfair because they didn't know they were supposed to do anything.
• The New York Times poll said Americans remain most concerned about the high cost of living with a big percentage of us deep in debt and living paycheck to paycheck. The latest statistics show that consumer credit card debt is now at an all-time high. I'm so deep in debt I could start a government.
• Alec Baldwin was caught on camera threatening to snap the neck of a Trump impersonator who was teasing Alec in Trump's voice about killing the cinematographer on the sidewalk outside his apartment in New York. All Hollywood stands behind Alec. It's a lot safer than standing in front of him.
• Chicago's Midway Airport had a frightful near-collision when a Southwest airliner pulled out of its landing just in time to avoid a taxiing plane. It was a miracle the Southwest liner held together during the sudden jerk into a steep climb. Boeing planes breakup so often Taylor Swift wrote a song about them.
