The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday that inflation continues to ravage the U.S. economy as food prices at the grocery store continue soaring. Consumer demand has created a lucrative black market. Over the weekend, U.S. Customs seized $6 million in eggs smuggled inside shipments of cocaine.

The U.S. team played Canada in a special hockey series in Montreal where the Canadian fans in the jam-packed arena booed the playing of the U.S. National Anthem. These are the French Canadians. However the U.S. had the last laugh because at the end of the game, our Russians beat their Russians 3-1.

Southern California was hit by an earthquake Saturday on top of last week's mudslides just two weeks after wildfires torched thousands of homes. California has so many disasters you'd think we were

Fox News reports social media influencer Ashley St. Clair is claiming that Elon Musk fathered her five-month-old child. If true that would give the world's richest man 13 children. If nothing else Elon is doing all he can to change the demographics of our nation, one African American at a time.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio ripped CBS anchor Margaret Brennan when she questioned Americans speaking freely at the Euro Defense Council. She declared that free speech caused the Holocaust. How can she know anything about free speech, I looked up her banquet fee and it's $40,000.

European Union leaders meet in Paris this week to oppose U.S. and Russia peace talks in Saudi Arabia, with Ukraine demanding a separate European Army. This could wind up with the U.S., Britain and Russia on one side, and with Central Europe on the other. Stop me if you've heard this joke before.

President Trump arrived at the Daytona 500 race on Sunday and drove a lap in the presidential limo to cheers, and the week before, he showed up at the Super Bowl. Trump is such a crowd pleaser. He will be on hand for Major League Baseball's Opening Day to throw out an undocumented shortstop.

NPR asserted Trump is pushing the limits of presidential powers by enacting so many policies by executive orders rather than by going through Congress. His first three weeks in office he issued 49 executive orders in the Oval Office. The Resolute Desk hasn't seen this much action since Bill Clinton.

Education Secretary nominee Linda McMahon assured the Senate she will raise U.S. student math scores. Back in 1986 when I was in Betty Ford's, my recovery counselor instructed me to compute the amount of money I'd spent on beer and cocaine. It was then I discovered I also have a math problem.

The American Veterinary Medical Association advised pet owners to keep a companion animal at home for your pet so he doesn't get lonely when you're gone. It's not working for mine. So far, I've brought home 3 cats, 4 dogs, two rabbits and a guinea pig, but all my python wants to do is eat them.
