John McCain shocks and awes the world!

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!

Oprah, if I had eyelashes, I would have cried 'em off too. Already my mascara has smudged beyond repair.

What a stunningly smart counter by John McCain. It took the wind out of the Obama juggernaut, just hours after his ascendance from mount Fiasco…I mean Invesco. How much did that gala cost anyway?

The next day, on the heels of an eight point Obama breakaway lead, John McCain and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, sent Dems into a tizzy even worse than when they found out the surge was working. According to Zogby, the Republican ticket now has a two point lead less than 24 hours after the Democrats put themselves and the country to sleep.

Let me count the ways…

It was Conservative day on the stump; victory pulled from the jaws of a Democrat convention bite so strong it impressed the Greek gods.

To the tune of the movie "Rudy," Governor Sarah Palin strode up to the podium and forever into the annals of world history.

Dems, you want creds? You can't handle her creds:

  • Mother of five including downes syndrome child.

  • Son fighting in Iraq

  • Loyal husband of 20 years, whom she eloped with to save money. (Daughters are you listening?)

  • Chaired Alaska's Oil and Gas Conversion Commission but resigned because of Republican corruption.

  • Elected to city council, mayor, and governor. She doesn't just run her mouth like the other three senators in the race. She runs a state.

  • Commander in chief of Alaska National Guard.

  • Lifetime member of NRA

  • Hockey mom

  • State Champion Basketball Player (nicknamed Sarah Barracuda)

  • Hunter/fisher

  • Government reformer

  • Told congress to keep their earmark millions for "bridge to nowhere"

  • Owned and ran businesses

  • Beauty queen

Governor Palin is more qualified to be president than Biden AND Obama.

Now for contrasts between Sarah and the boys running for office and one of the girls that competed and lost… then was inexplicably dissed by Obama:

  • Doer vs. whiner

  • Administrator vs. senators

  • 80% approval ratings as governor, while in favor of drilling off shore and in ANWR vs. the no drill punish Americans Obiden

  • Sixteen years of elected politics vs. Barack's anemic elective experience

  • Stood up to corruption in her party vs. Barack's canoodling with Rezko.

  • Tax cutter vs. tax raiser

  • Fiscally responsible vs. Obiden's proposed pork bar-b-q of the American taxpayer

  • Only woman on ticket vs. only plagiarist on ticket.

  • Pro lifer vs. baby killer Barack (To be detailed in upcoming column)

  • Her husband races snowmobiles vs. Bill's 747s full of baggage.

  • Didn't attend a church for 20 years that has ties to Louie Farrakhan vs. Obama

  • Sarah's career wasn't launched with a fund raiser in the living room of a cop-killing terrorist William Ayers, who was only sorry he and his Manson family loving wife, Bernadine Dohrn, didn't kill more Americans vs. Barack

Just how pure do you have to be to achieve "extra virgin?"

Surprise, Surprise!! The leftist attacks, particularly cruel and sexist have begun.

The Daily Koz and Allan Colmes have distinguished themselves on the web. The former hosts a claim that Sarah's 16 year old daughter is really the mother of downes syndrome baby Trig.

The latter, liberal commentator and new OBGYN, (who knew?) questions Sarah's prenatal care of downes syndrome child Trig in an attempt to show her as an unfit mom. Guess Momma Colmes tired of watching her son get his arse whooped daily by Hannity and whatever conservative is on the show. By the way, Allan, isn't it criminal to practice medicine without a brain?

As my wife Joni, observed, "Palin is a woman's woman AND a man's woman."

Or as Rush Limbaugh observed, "We're the ones with the babe on the ticket."
