The impending invasion of Europe: Who's vulnerable?

By Dave Weinbaum

JewishWorldReview.com | For those of us who either weren't around when wars have started, or forget the fact that we've had about 200 million killed in lethal conflict since 1899, we are witnessing a classically lethal start-up in Crimea and the Ukraine—and the Libiots in the Obama Administration are jiggy with it!

At worst, they colluded with Russia as evidenced by President Obama's flexibility pledge after the 2012 election.

At best, America is hogtied by Obama's misguided policies. The world has seen us turn tail and run from every conflict or worse--decide to back mortal enemies at the expense of our closest allies.

Giving the Obama Administration the benefit of the doubt, one can see that John "Not Fit For Command" Kerry is clueless in his efforts to scare Putin. His snootiness presents the perfect foil for the down-to-earth Putin. His predecessor, Hillary "Kill Bill's Bitches" Clinton, in a feeble attempt to discredit Bush and Reagan, offered that ridiculous reset button to the Russian foreign minister.

Also, that offer was an insult to every Russian and Eastern European who suffered under the brutal Soviets. Did she, Kerry or Obama remember Ronnie's bloodless defeat of the Soviet Empire without one shot being fired? Why won't Liberals use what worked before—strength? What is it about weakness that's so appealing to them?

While these observations are obvious to those who follow history, both ancient and current, the subject matter of today's discussion is: If the war in the Ukraine surges and Putin decides it's a plausible model to pursue, who's at risk for a Holocaust?

Since most within the realm of logical consciousness rely on history to repeat, let's go back to the last big European hostility-WW2.

Many Germans were convinced that the 1919 Treaty of Versailles, which ended WW1, was a crime against the German people. It made them disarm, take full blame for the war and pay reparations both in cash and territory. Rumors spread that it was the Jews who betrayed Germany. Hitler arose from that mess to rearm Germany, rally the people to blame the Jewish scapegoat for their plights and motivate the people to regain territories to save "German speaking people."

Sound familiar? It's exactly what a Vladimir Putin said as he invaded Crimea and is about to do to the Ukraine—using the words, "Russian speaking…" When Putin invades Ukraine, we're placed in the same dilemma as when Hitler invaded Poland in September of 1939. As a group, Jews suffered six million murdered.

Who are the unlucky losers under a Putin Putsch?

  • Jews-After the Holocaust many Jews migrated from Europe. There may be 2 million left out of what was once about 11 million. The Ukraine was a gulag of Jewish death in WW2. Out of the 250,000 Jews who still reside in the Ukraine, down from 2.7 million in pre WW2 numbers, there are still some fears they will be attacked by the local Jew haters--maybe not so much by the Russians. The rest of Europe has such a depleted supply of Jews, that to round them up would be, pardon the pun, overkill.

  • Christians-Most of the hostilities toward Jews was fomented at the hands of various Christian denominations in Europe. Martin Luther was a rampant anti-Semite and the Catholic Church wasn't much better. Although many individual priests and pastors protested the slaughter of the Jews, the leaders of most of those religions stood silent during the devastation—especially the Vatican. Comprising 76% of Europe's population would be too much of a task even if there was a mass movement against them. Post WW2, there's been solidification between Christians and Jews, yet you wouldn't know it from the Progressives in the UN.

  • Muslims-What I've noticed in the years since 9/11/2001 is an awaking amongst Christians, Jews and moderate Muslims at the viciousness of a small amount of fanatical Koran believers. They are convinced that Allah wants them to murder, enslave or tax infidels who refuse to acknowledge Allah and his messenger, Mohamed, as the only true faith. Muslims were and are all about killing Jews, having partnered with Hitler in WW2. With the expulsion of almost a million Jews from Arab countries, Arabs eventually ran out of Jews to bully. When they attack Israel now, they know they have to pay a price. So who are they killing now?

In Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Afghanistan and Northern Africa Muslims mainly kill each other. But they are pointedly murdering and decapitating Christians at an alarming rate. The Muslim population of Europe is approximately 44 million out of 733 million--about 5.4%.

With Jews already decimated and aligned with the majority population—Christians— as they never have been before, I'd be concerned if I were a Muslim, especially in those countries where Islamists are making a big stink about their "rights" to Sharia law while their brethren are murdering Christians left and right. Also, Israel, not on the scene in WW2, may provide a bigger deterrent than imagined to those who would wipe out the remaining Jews of Europe.

Muslim chickens may be coming home to roost.

Or am I wrong?
