And now for the important news ....
By Argus Hamilton
Bill Clinton recorded a tribute video Monday for Elton John's
gay wedding in London. It was sweet. He applauded the rock star for
tying the knot under Britain's new civil union law, then Hillary
stepped in front of the camera and kissed the South good-bye.
New York subways were shut down by a strike on Monday. Cars
were not allowed in town with less than four people in them.
Another week of this and terrorists will be competing against glue
factories to destroy New York's transportation system.
Senate Democrats told the White House Tuesday they will
demand to see all of Sam Alito's documents during the time he
worked at the Justice Department. The White House was simply
outraged by the demand. Is there no privacy in this country?
Bolivia elected Evo Morales its new president Monday. He was
the head of the coca growers federation and may allow unrestricted
cocaine production. The good news is, the end of the obesity
epidemic in America is just one growing season away.
Democrat John Conyers introduced a resolution in the House Monday to censure President Bush and Dick Cheney for misleading the country into war in Iraq. It's not just John Conyers that's upset. Barry Bonds is demanding an investigation to find out how Iran suddenly doubled in size in the span of only two baseball seasons.
