American Vampires and Their Political Enablers

http://www.JewishWorldReview.com | Maybe I've reached the bursting point, but I've had it with with some of my fellow Americans — and even more so with their political enablers who know better, but whose lust for power overshadows anything resembling common decency. It's time for a reality check: this is one American whose sick and tired of subsidizing people who are too damn lazy to take care of themselves — and who expect other people to pick up the tab.

Spare me excuses. I don't want to hear about "social justice," "victimization," or "fairness" when they are nothing more than excuses that allow you to live in this country while contributing virtually nothing towards its upkeep. There's a huge difference between the truly helpless and the truly hapless, and I've had it with the politicians who make little or no distinction between the two groups.

I don't care what these political whores tell you, there's no such thing as "free" anything, and the fact that you a) think there is or b) don't give a damn because you're not paying for it, is a testament to both their duplicity and your lack of integrity.

But then you knew that already, didn't you? And you're OK with it — as long as your government program or policy delivers the goods.

And let's be clear here: I'm including public service unions in the screw-everyone-else-what's-in-it-for-me category. You people think your salaries, health benefits and pensions are immune to economic reality, even as the people who pay for them are getting killed. You're already bankrupting California and New York, and you don't give a damn, either.

The greed of all of you knows no bounds. it doesn't matter that the greatest transfer of wealth in the history of man is the one which has occurred in America over the last fifty years. You want more, and you couldn't care less if the country goes bankrupt in the process of giving it to you. You'll vote for anyone who promises you all the things to which you are manifestly not entitled, and figure out how to "justify" it after the fact.

There was a time in this country when people were ashamed to go on the dole, except as a last resort. There was a time when most people accepted responsibility for their own behavior, or felt bad doing something wrong when they knew it was wrong. But that was before secular "progressives" made it fashionable to believe religion-based moral codes were "passe,'" and that everyone was entitled to "tailor" morality in accordance with "personal preferences." Once such moral uncertainty gathered momentum, the legal profession and the therapeutic community were more than willing to jump on the bandwagon. For the former, "right and wrong" became "legal and illegal." For the latter, "well and unwell."

Shame? Dead as the proverbial doornail. Its replacement? Self-rationalization and excuse-making.

Who do you people think you're kidding? Not the Americans who bust their butts every day to make ends meet. Not the people who try to do the right thing, just because it's right. A lot of them have been beaten into submission by our political class for whom nothing is more important than making decent people feel bad for not being "compassionate" enough.

Well no more. I'm calling you out. You and all the politicians who know the road to permanent power is paved by buying you off. You're nothing more than blood-suckers, and it's long past time someone told you so.

And please, don't pretend you don't know who you and your enablers are. You certainly do, and so do all the decent Americans who've been carrying you for decades. Your self-righteous indignation is wearing exceedingly thin, and you may have noticed that the sleeping giant of decent, law-abiding, hard-working Americans — still a majority of people in this country — are beginning to wake up. Those are the very same folks who bend over backwards, time and time again, to help people in need.

Those in want? Tick, tick tick...
