reality check
Why hide it? America
favors Israel

By Norah Vincent

The Israelis, like us, have been responsible for civilian deaths during war and tactical incursions. But there is a big difference between attempting to avoid, but sometimes inflicting civilian casualties (in this case by risking booby traps and going house to house on foot as the Israeli army has been doing) and targeting civilians purposely as Al Queda did in the World Trade Center, and as the Palestinian gunmen did last month when they rushed into a settlement in Adora and killed four non-combatants at home on the Sabbath, including a five-year-old girl. The moral difference is all in the intent.

When 'what if' is no game
By Frank J. Gaffney, Jr

It is illuminating to muse about some "what if's" in current affairs that might have influenced profoundly our present circumstances -- if only because it may shed light on decisions still to be made.

Western self-loathing
numbs us to violence

By Diana West

For decades now, the relativist school of thought known as multiculturalism has been pushing Western civilization into disrepute. Maybe it has finally fallen. Something has shifted, certainly, reshaping the global topography to the point where most of what counts as the free world now gravitates toward the repressive forces of terror that surround a vibrant democratic society engaging, however fiercely, in self-defense.

That just might make this, then, the penultimate triumph of multiculturalism. In other words, don't count on the battle ending at Israel's borders, wherever they ultimately lie.

Make the producing of wise parents a priority

An Israeli drone flying over Jenin on Monday, April 28 caught a modern-day resurrection. Well, sort of.

As Arab propaganda cameras rolled, pallbearers repeatedly tried to carry a "dead" man wrapped in a green blanket. The only problem is that he couldn't keep his balance and kept falling. A highlight: At 1:35 on the film, a crowd of onlookers quickly breaks up, when the "corpse" picks himself off the floor and gets back up on the stretcher.

If the purpose of this video were not so EVIL, it would belong on one of those Dick Clark TV specials. After the 'massacre' and now this, can you believe ANYTHING the Arabs say? To view, click here. Windows Media Player needed to watch.
